Ok, it's the last week of NaNo, I'm behind by 4,300ish words. Not really panicking.... Yet. Is there anyone else who's going to cut this thing fine?

Luv, there is absolutely NO need to panic :-) I've seen people going from 25k to 55k in the space of 4 days - you'll be fine :-)
Pull up a chair, stretch those typing fingers and knuckle down. You've got a whole cheer squad.

As a sidenote - I won't be able to write the next couple of days so I'll be in the same boat as you until the final day of NaNo ;-) If it all comes crashing down... we can panic together ;-)

I'm well past cutting it fine, and am now processing it to make soup... However, I've decided that I will still be proud of myself if I make it past the halfway point of 25000 - I'm pushing hopefully to get further than that, but I am doubtful of my chances.

Currently close to 18000 - so at least 7000 more words are necessary!

I'm cutting it even finer - and with new kittens in the house and my husband's parents visiting from the U.S. to boot! Still, I'm determined to make it, even if I have to spend all day locked in my room with the husband ferrying in food items every two hours! We can still do this thing!

I'm not even in the kitchen to cut things fine *HUGS* You'll be totally fine. My NaNo has been sacrifices to the Writing Gods in hopes that next year's harvest is more fruitful.

Well, I've currently got to write 14000 words in, uh, 4 days -- and I've got a visitor Friday night, so that will be out. Yesterday's effort of 300 words didn't do much good at all.

But I do have a Plan C, since Plan B isn't working out for me too well. I'd say more, but, uh, gotta go write! :-)

Eh, I'll make it - but it will be at a slow, plodding pace. What was intended as a weeks break for study has turned me unmotivated. Still, I'll excrete something to get over the finish line - I do it every other year with worse stories and from much further back.
