I finished yesterday, YAY.
Won't be able to make it to the TGIO, Kerryn. We have the Birthday run starting on Monday the 3rd!! - and guests coming for a week too. Am just delighted the whole thing is over for me! :)

Woo hoo! It was a great TGIO party this year. Thanks to Travis, Andy, Alice, Duncan, Sam, Philippa Ballantine and Riadan for coming along and having a great time. Now we all know that pool should not be our first choice of activity. :)

It was a great time, I had to run off to a Skype conversation for this collaboration coming on, but I really think it would a great idea to maybe have a monthly get together of Wellington writers, just to touch base and support each other. Oh yeah, and drink Mohijtos.

I was thinking we could have a monthly get together in Wellington, say the third Sunday of every month? Early afternoon seemed to work for people during NaNo. The 3rd Sunday in December is the 16th, or if that's too soon we can start in January.
I'll post something on Kiwi Writers and make this a new thread here for further discussion.

Like many, I struggled (and failed) to make it to a meeting every weekend - but one a month should be do-able ... the majitos sound good too :)
