I just wanted to say I had a great time at the Write-A-Thon on Saturday. While I seemed to be one of the slower writers there (hitting somewhere over 5000 words), and while there wasn't much talking going on, just the steady click clack of keyboards, it was fun to be around other people who were as committed to doing this insane month long task. Plus, y'know.. free stickers! And special thanks of course to Beat who organized the whole thing.

I completely agree! Except, I had even less words at 3,656. ;) Being a super shy person, this was fun! Hopefully we can do it again.

I also had a wonderful time! To those of you who were able to make it, thank you so much for participating! Although it was very quiet, almost too quiet...I think we all had a really great time writing and just taking a few hours to cranck out those last words.

Planning for next years Colorado Write-A-Thon has already begun and hopefully we will be able to do a little bit better job organizing it so that more of us can join in on the insane writing fun!

Thanks again everyone!!!

I'm glad it was quiet. If there was a lot of chatting/talking/socialization I wouldn't have gotten nearly as much done. The only thing I had a problem with, minor though it was, was the room felt really cold. I should have brought a sweatshirt like I'd planned. Other than that, I thought things went really well.

I had a lot of fun. Are we planning a longer one next year?
