You-hoo? Anybody out there?
Saturday is December 1. Win or lose, the heat's over with.
If you have a purple bar, I'll buy you a cup of coffee at at 3:00 PM Saturday at the Kountry Kettle in Hudson -- a mile north of M-34 on US-127. If you only have a blue bar, you're welcome to show up anyway. If you don't drink coffee, I'll make it a soft drink. I'm not picky,
It'd be neat to sit and shoot the bull about writing. I get the feeling that there are some people in this area besides me that don't have much of anyone they can share the joys and agonies with on a personal basis.
I would appreciate a RSVP, either by PM or reply here, so I'm not the only one that shows up.

OK, I tried. Guess I'm just a lonely voice crying in the wilderness. Since I haven't received any replies, I guess I'll go put up a new bookshelf for my wife instead.

Hi Wes, Hey when you get done helping your wife with her bookshelves, you could always come on over here in Irons,MIchigan and teach my husband how to build me some! Me and Grandma have way too many books for the space, and shelves that we have.
Congratulations on your big win!
And, I'm sorry to hear that you had to spend all that excitement by yourself in your wilderness, but you're not alone! there isn't anyone around here for me to celebrate with either! But this wilderness is the way to go! I'd have it no other way! We'll just have to get busy and bring in some new writers from our areas for next year! I've got about 5 people that are mulling over the idea. Including my mothers doctor since he observed my pretty certificate all yellow and shinny!
I do believe that the TGIO parties would have a much better turn out, if we had a week or so to come back down out of the clouds, after the win, before meeting.
Well, it's been a pleasure chatting with you this year Wes, and I look forward to meeting you here next year if not sooner. Hopefully without the fly!
