Hey yall who are having fun and/or pulling out hair! Calling all wrimo's! There are 98,000 of us this year not counting the young writers program, which has about 18,000! Isn't that amazing? But somehow only 3.something % of us have donated to keep Nano going till next october!
If all of us gave just $10, we would overwhelm the office of letters and light so much they would flip! (Wouldn't that be fun!) It's a great program and remember that over and above a little money to keep running till next year, the funds left go to start libraries for children in parts of the world where libraries may be scarce. I know they've put them in Laos and Cambodia and not sure where they are going this year...but any money over and above goes to a good place, you can count on that.
I'm not a Municipal Liason, or anyone official from Nanowrimo. I'm just a plain old Wrimo, living on a fixed income who thinks this much fun is worth at least $10. So join me and get that little gold halo over your head like some of us have...it makes you feel good. If you can't, that's okay too, just participating is great, but if you can, visit the donation/store pull down menu now and help keep our site going. It's nice to be able to see posts throughout the year. (I think the south denver meeting thingy is the posts of the living dead...it just never ends LOL)
