Hello,
I'm still trying to finish, but have a question. I was trying to be careful about grammar rules, but it is becoming tiresome especially when it comes to dialogue between characters. Should I worry about it? Keeps slowing me up!

That would be your Inner Editor very sneakily coming back from the vacation she was supposed to be on. Inner Editors are not invited to participate in NaNoWriMo. I learned this. *nodsnods* They told me.
----------So I will tell you first what everyone else will second whenever they're awake ... "November is for writing. December is for editing."
or maybe
"Quantity over quality."
Either way, I say just let the grammar go.

Do not worry about grammar when people are talking, unless the char would be worried about it. Average people don't use proper grammar when they speak anyway! :)
But you can worry about all that in December, definitely. Hold out for just a few more days!! :D

Grammar is useful stuff; it makes things easier to communicate between two people. However, for NaNo? SCREW IT.
Especially when writing dialogue. When people are talking, they end with prepositions, begin sentences with conjunctions and commit far worse grammar violations than that! What matters most is that you get your ideas down on paper, and worry about repairing grammar snafus when it comes time to edit.
