Don't forget this (from our events calendar)!

Thank goodness it's over/victory party at the champagne brunch, Holiday Inn in front of Madison Sq. Mall, University Dr., Huntsville, AL. Bring the family, small writerly gifts for the ticket-to-write drawing (optional) and your completed tickets to write (with name and daily word count, dates optional). You rock, North AL Wrimos!

Bryan and I have picked up a few silly writerly gifts, so bring whatever you like to add to the drawing, even if it's only pencils and paper clips. Since I have about three tickets to write only, I'm hoping to win at least a paper clip. Yea me!!!

If you'll chime in here with numbers attending, we may be able to get our own reserved table. I think it takes twelve or more. If not, look for us on one of the long raised tables in the lounge/lunch buffet area. That's where they have placed us for recent events.

Join us to celebrate all our WINNERS and give a pat on the back of encouragement to slackers like me, too. (I will finish by Nanoedmo in March, by golly!)

All our writer tickets from the whole month? Or just the days since the last write-in? Since I've never shown up enough to know how this works. (blush)

No clue if I will make it or not, but I am tempted. If I make it, I'll add in some loot for the prizes.

Yes, Kristen, stars like you get to bring one ticket for each day you wrote. If you know your word count for the day, put it on the ticket for added applause, but be sure to put your name on it for sure.

How many from your crew will be coming? Kids and spouse are welcome, too!!

If I come, probably the whole family, which will be me, dh Lysle (who stopped writing about a week in), Ted (6, got his YWP purple bar!), and Maddy (3). But I really have no idea yet. And I won't have a better idea till Saturday.

Some day life will settle down and I'll be the sort of person who can give a straight answer to simple questions like this! :)

Can't imagine not being there. It will be great to help celebrate the winners and all those like myself who found reasons to not write quite enough to make the grade. Too bad. So far this is my favorite.

Considering that I've got finals coming up next week, I don't think I can make it.
so, to be safe, count me and my boyfiend out. We'd like to come, but college really sucks this time of year.

I'd like to come, though I didn't participate this year. (Instead, I just... quietly cheered on a couple of people I know who did participate.)

However... It starts rather early for a Sunday. I'll be out of church at 11:15 (at the absolute earliest), but of course it would take time to actually get going, and to get to the party. Especially since one of my parents would have to transport me there.

Is there any chance you could start later? Or at least go on for longer?

MaraCrow,
Please come along when you can, we usually have folks showing up well after 11. Also, with this being a brunch is one reason the place starts serving a bit early. As far as just being a cheerer that is fine with us, some of us need that cheering to get us through. Doesn't look like I will make it this year, but I hope to continue and finish it up.
This is a party and more the merrier. As I told another Wrimo, we usually close the place down at 2, we all just enjoy each others company.
Hope to see you there and anyone who wishes to join you.
