So I suddenly have a wad of extra NaNoWriMo stickers. The Denver MLs gave me their excess at the Colorado Write-A-Thon. I'll be dropping some off at Deja Brew this afternoon and also at the Boulder Library Main Branch "Teen Space" this morning; also will be reserving some on my person to give away to anyone I haven't seen yet this month.
What other vectors of distribution should I pursue to make sure no one misses out on the fun?

Niki, I have 8 stickers myself. You have inspired me to leave some at the Longmont Library. If you don't get to Deja Brew, tho, I'll be happy to leave a few there myself tomorrow. Are you within shouting distance of any of the Boulder schools that are participating? Of course, we could always shower ourselves with them at the IHOP on Friday.....

You know, had I actually written anything for NaNoWriMo, I would request one. As it is, the only thing I have written so far is a title, which is better than I did last year, but as for actual progress on a novel, I have none to show. :-(

Do not worry, Lytspeed, you are part of a highly energetic group with enough heart to encircle all writers of every walk! Even those with just a title on paper....

I left the rest of the stickers in a red NaNoWriMo mug on the counter at Deja Brew in Longmont. They'll be there for the next several days, possibly a week, so come and get 'em!!!

I didn't manage to get to any meets this nano (and I didn't hit 50k....boo hoo...it was a rough month), but I'm not sure how you could get any of them too me, so I guess I won't worry about it this year. My clipboard will just have to be missing a year.

No no no no no! Not acceptable! You must have your sticker!

So if you plan to continue writing out at cafes and stuff, I can make a hard and fast plan to meet you somewhere, or at least leave some at the cafe counter. Or I can mail you some. Catch me in the NaNoMail and we'll make plans.

There were a whole bunch of them at the Teen Space, and I highly doubt that they've run out of them yet. I got mine from there and stuck it on my laptop ^_^
Edit: Oh, nevermind, apparently they did run out...

Well, Lytspeed, you're not the only one. I never got past a title + vague concept all month. No words ever got written, partially because I still haven't come up with any characters. I'm so pathetic, I never even opened Microsoft Word all month (except a work, which doesn't count).
I meant to at least socialize this year, so I made it to an event in October, but that was it. (And it was good to see Mongoose again and meet Jayne (sorry, I can't remember your real name, but you had a spiffy hat!).) I'm hoping to finally buy a laptop soon so I can finally participate in all these nifty write-ins that you just can't lug a desktop to.
Congrats to all who did better than me! See you in 2008! (I hope...)

Hi, Willow!
I didn't get to as many events, or write as much as I hoped to this year, either. Don't beat yourself up about what you didn't write, though--this is supposed to be fun, and guilt isn't much fun. I never came up with a title this year (or any other year, for that matter), but I did manage to write some, on some days.
Sorry I didn't see you this year at write-ins...I do feel less guilty about missing seeing you there, knowing that you didn't make it to them either. ;-)
I hope to see you in 2008, or in the fabled "writing year 'round" that Niki sometimes talks about.
