I was tired!
I went to validate my novel!
I freaked cos it took me to the winners page and I knew that wasn't right.
I was only at about 44k
*headdesk*
I had double-posted my story and had 88k
Even now though that I've taken it all off, it still says I've won.
How embarrassing.
And Un-inspiring.

Ohh No!! But hey, so totally motivation to get to the 50k right?! I mean, you could just say that was the plan all a long, the new version of NaNoWriMo motivation, the Lola Way. You could so sell it, seriously.
I still haven't gotten on IRC, I think I will leave it now.
Off topic just a smidge, I'll be up for a new NaNoWriMo month. I'm not real good at like making web pages and stuff though. But if there is any other way I can help, please let me know. It sounds like a great idea, esp for those who are at Uni or even in final year of High School.

That happened to me too, only after I hit the finish line. Instead of 50,000-odd, I got 100,000-odd. Had to go back and fix it. It messed up my graphs. :-(
