Anyone else feel like they just might run out of hours...

I know I'm nearly there, I know I'm on the homeward stretch (admittedly the dragon still has no name!), but when I look at the work deadlines for this week I'm wondering if I might fall at the last fence...

And having used pen and paper for 99.9% of the last 20,000 words that would be gutting...

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

(Thank you I feel better having let that out!)

Sorry to be pedantic - but shouldn't that be ARGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! ?

Although I thought you'd resigned yourself to aiming at 40K -- which you've already beaten!!

So that's a "Hey Ya, Go go go Wibble!!!!" (I nearly put in five explanation points, but managed to restrain myself just in time.)

Chromo.

Oh, pooh!

I meant "exclamation".

Honestly, save the lord, I just do not know how I em expected to write a nov-vel when I have such disobedient and con-uh-trary fingers. Where do they get their ideahs from? Lordy, lordy, for Chrissakes!

If it's any consolation I know I'll run out of hours. If you've got a dragon don't worry about fences, just burn them down.

I was meant to have a dragon, but I'm past the 50k mark and she hasn't appeared yet - my dragon slayer arrived in a town after she'd already toasted it, so the villagers have seen her but the slayer and the reader haven't. I'm going to keep writing until the deadline, so maybe she'll show up by friday.
