Okay, Ket and I had a great time talking to each other and browsing in the books tonight, but we would really like to see some more faces!!

I am thinking (depends on work) about a Friday night blow out. Start out at Literarium from around 6 until 8 ish or whenever they boot us out, then we can head on down the road about 3 miles to my place to finish out the night, followed by much whooping, hollering and consuming of munchies. What does everyone think?

Hurry and let me know. THe time is short!!

Now that sounds so much better for us (hubby to drop me off then me calling him to come back to get me.)

Dang! It's almost over and I still have 1/3 of my book to finish. At least I finally took the time over the past few days to outline the ending. Most of the rest of the book was without an outline. I don't know which way will work better -- all of my nonfic stuff was outlined.

Well, then, we shall see you there!

And you can always finish during JaNoFiMo. January Novel Finishing Month.

Peace,

Okay, so we are on!

Ket and I will be there around 6:30--work,ya know. So hang out and introduce yourselves to Lisa and Duane, the wonderful owners who are making us free, awesome coffee and letting us invade their space. If you don't like coffee you can bring in water.

For the follow up at my place, can everyone bring a snack or some cash to chip in for pizza or something? Thanks bunches!

Peace,
Ladyhawke

I enjoyed our eleventh hour push for the word count. I can't wait to finish the first draft of my book -- it's going to be around 100k by the time I wind it all up. I'll cut alot in the revisions, boo hoo. But I'll have completed it, ye-ha!

I want you and Ket to feel the same way about completing your novels. It's all about choice for me: play with the dogs or write, watch a movie or write, read someone else's book or work on my own, scrapbook or write, set up a website or write, ... I'm sure ya'll have your own choices and sacrifices to make to write also. Doesn't it feel good after you've accomplished it though? Writing I mean?

I need to check to make sure I'm on a private post before I send my email so back with you in a few.

I am wanting to finish, I really am. Matter of fact, I have a professional writing coach for Dec and Jan. I won her in an auction. :D

So I will either finish this one during that time, or ressurrect my old one and work on it. But I will be writing. I just cannot sacrifice school for me or my son, so I have to accept a slower pace than I would like. Not giving up though. Nope. Gotta get something worth publishing one of these days. I have 2 kids stories to work on, too.
