Well, it's that time of month--the end. :(
This brings me great sadness, mainly because I'm about 8,000 words shy of finishing my novel, but also because it means our journey and write-out fun is about to end.
We need to celebrate our accomplishments! All of us--whether we finish or not!

This is where you come in:
Tell us where you would like to meet up for our TGIO!
We're thinking a Sunday meet-up at Camille's in Lancaster or Me & Ed's Pizzeria in Palmdale.
Drop a line to tell us your preference, and let us know if this weekend (Dec. 2) or next Sunday (Dec. 9) works better for you!

Oh, and write! And keep writing until you finish!

Misty, AV ML

Misty:
My vote would be for this Sunday! Because I will be on vacation on the ninth. I love both locations-does either one have a room or a space for us to fit everyone and be able to hear them if they want to read an excerpt? I just finished- I'm walking on air! Never thought I could actually write a whole novel and yea me I did it!
Love you all,
Tricia
I think I may go buy myself something in celebration!
P.S. what does TGIO stand for?

I agree. This Sunday would be best.
And I think that Camille's would probably be less crowded (especially in that little side room).

P.S. TGIO=Thank Goodness It's Over.
P.P.S. Congratulations on finishing! I think you're the first one from the antelope valley! Hurray!

Either Sunday is great for me. I'd prefer Dec. 2nd in that it's closer to the whole event, so that the excitement of finishing is still fresh. Yet, if we have to post-pone, that's great too. And any of those places are great. I've never been to Me & Ed's Pizzaria...that'd be fun and festive - but at the same time, Camille's is nice in that it isn't so noisy/packed/etc.

I guess I'm not all that helpful in picking, am I?! :P

Ok, so based off of our whopping responses we've kindly decided that the OFFICIAL AV TGIO will be held this Sunday, December 2 @ 2pm @ Camille's in Lancaster. We'll meet in the side room.

Bring an excerpt and/or auto-summary of your novel to share. And YES, come EVEN IF YOU DON'T FINISH your novel. It's an accomplishment in itself just participating!

Hope to see you all there!

Misty, AV ML

PS - On a side note, if you've had any fun whatsoever during this year's NaNoWriMo, please consider donating to the cause. Click the handy-dandy donations/store link above. There are some nifty things in the store too. If you're considering writing again next year, help to make sure NaNoWriMo makes a return. Yay to all of you who have already donated! You're awesome.
