I just felt weird having a thread specifically for my hitting 50K, so here's the one where we can sing everyone's praises, because we all rock.

Congratulations to everyone who's been breaking 50K in the last week! Looks like Chantel, Amanda, Tomas, Carrie, and Lori have made it, and Gabe's well on his way, and that's just out of the writers who came to weekend gatherings. Congratulations to everyone else, too! Hope it's been a fun run for you.

Sounds like there are two celebratory meetups in the plans (maybe more?). Even though it's December 1st, I'll be at BellaVita for at least part of the morning on Saturday, in part to keep writing, but in part because the Saturday sessions have been too much fun to give up immediately just because November is over. Then there's the usual Sunday meeting at B&N at 6, with the possibility of celebratory cheesecake consumption. Maybe I'll see you at one or both of those!

I'll definitely try to make this week's Bella Vita gathering. The place sounds great, but I've been unable to make it to a single one - our dreadful football team and my sleepiness are to blame.

Hooray to all of us, anyway!

Well if you two are going to be there, I guess I'll have to come as well. I'll bring the usual; gum and the surge protector. :)

EDIT: If the weather is nasty when I get up, I'm not coming. But according to the news, the craptastic snow, wind, freezing rain and the potential ice storm (dramatic much?) isn't supposed to really start until about 3pm, so we should be okay, as long as we're there early.

Whoohoo to those who made the purple bar! And still pats on the back for the rest of us too who attempted. I was really hoping this would be my star comeback year, but I am not discouraged yet. If my legs and head cooperate, I hope to go to B&N this evening.

Yay for NaNo2007. I can't believe it will be a whole year until next time....

Congrats, everyone! I wish I could have made it this year, but I had a lot of things going on this month. I'm still going to write away and hit 50k on my own time, because I do like my story and do want to finish it.

I won't be at either meeting this weekend, as my mom's in town until tomorrow, but if you guys keep on meeting at BellaVita on Saturday mornings, I should be able to make it next week for at least part of the morning. Hooray!
