Well, we did it - survived NanoWriMo 2007, still married, no calls to CPS or the police about my children running wild and being ignored, no calls to the Humane Society from my dogs needing fed.... I would call that, plus reaching 50,000 words on a novel I have yet to find the magic in, deserving of a night out to celebrate! Anyone in Scottsdale interested in a Friday night beer/wine/mixed drink to congratulate ourselves?

Sorry to everyone that replied - my best intentions to get together last night were curbed by my son and his friend having a car wreck in the dang rain. Everyone is safe, but hospital stuff and taking care of the car was still a necessity. I would still be up for making a plan maybe even for a happy hour Monday or Tuesday. I am also new to the area. Anyone know good place at the Scottsdale Road to Shea area? I am right in the middle of that area. Would also go further north, south, east or west.
