Whew. Made it... and I just want to say, thank you to all Indiana participants who shared the trip with me this year on the NaNoWriMo ski slopes. You helped me muddle through the blizzard of words

Three cheers for Hoosier spirit!

Hip-hip-hoooray! Hip-hip-hooooray! Hip-hip-hoooooraaaaaay!

We made it... and it looks like some people are very close!

(Now-- let's see if I remember what it's like to get sleep and interact with people who don't exist solely in my head).

SEE YOU ALL NEXT YEAR.

Yikes! Don't use the past tense "to all who made it". The end is Friday night, not Thursday.

Big family Thanksgiving out of town really crimped my progress but I've been chipping away every day and expect to cross the finish line later this afternoon. Fortunately, I've got the day free to do it.

Oh you are so close. Get writing! You can do it! Let us see a purple bar on your screen by tomorrow!

Finished, thank God:) I'm exhausted...exhilerated, but exhausted! I may not write another word until January...excluding Christmas cards and email, of course!

Congrats to all who made it:)

I finished on the 20th, but I just made my wordcount goal about ten minutes ago - whoot! I worried for a little while that it wasn't going to happen, but there it is... Now, to get verified!

Woo-hoo, yahoo, hooray!

Hard to believe tonight, even though when I pushed off from shore in my row boat 30 days ago I felt sure there was a whole story inside.

This is my first time ever to try either NaNo or a fiction enterprise and it has been a wonderful experience. Trained and habituated over many decades as a non-fiction writer, it has been a hoot to just float the paper boat of a fiction idea on the water and see where the winds and currents might take it.

I did not finish my story, (I have to explore it further), but I discovered one existed and might have legs. That is so cool.

Best to all. Look forward to celebrating the experience Dec. 9
