I don't mean to scare you... you've still got about 27 hours left before NaNoWriMo is actually over! That's plenty of time for one last push or two (or twenty seven!) to knock out however many words you need before midnight on November 30th to hit your 50K.
But I want to invite everyone (and yes, I do mean EVERYONE--especially YOU) to our Thank Goodness It's Over! Party this Saturday. We'll be meeting at the Panera Bread in Fort Lauderdale, from 4-7pm, on Saturday, December 1st. I figured it would be a nice change to get out of the bookstores we've been meeting in all November.
So, whether you want to brag about your amazingly high word count, your wonderful, funny, interesting characters, and the amount of sleep you managed to get last month, or bemoan the fact that your main character was boring, that your story took forever to get nowhere, and that you STILL didn't win (and if you're the latter, come sit by me! We can compare notes!) please, come join us.

I work on Saturday and I don't get off till 6 and that's down in Hollywood...*sigh* there's no way I can get all the way
up to Ft Lauderdale by 7pm from there...
this is how I missed the kickoff (that was on a Sunday from 1-4 and I didn't get off work till 4 that day)

Well, I'm really happy right now because I finished my word count today. I still have about 4 -5k left to write in order to finish the story but I decided to submit what I had today.
At the same time I'm sad because I can't make the Party on Saturday since I have to be in Boca Raton for a formal event at 6.
