Well I didn't make it to 50,000 but I did make it to ten thousand which was pretty much my goal. I also managed to get a story on paper that has been floating around in my head for a couple of years. So I would just like to say thank to everyone for their inspiration and encouragement as well as Congratulations to this year's winners. Word wars, the book convention and silly posts have all been so much fun. Thanks for making my first nanowrimo a blast. I cannot wait until next year when I will pick a less confining subject to write on and really try to make it to 50,000. In the mean time I hope everyone has wonderful typing free holidays full of gift certificates for hand massages and eye drops. I must now return to the world of finals and hard work.
Nano wrimo has really taught me to have fun with my writing and the importance of writing every day.
Again thanks and God Bless!

What a great way to sum up what NaNoWriMo is all about. Thanks for putting it into words.

Great word count for your first year! Can't wait to see what you do next year.

And be thinking about joining us in April for Script Frenzy. It's a kick ... and it's only 20k. You could do that easily!!!

Happy Holidays!
