Remember -- it's the process of doing it that counts. You can't learn to ski without someday sliding down that mountain with the wind and snow in your face. And you can't learn to write novels until you put in the effort to churn out the words. And later, work them around like a lump of clay until they say what you mean.
So if you've collected any word count at all -- congratulations!!!! That's more than you would have done without Nanoing this month! You've taken a step toward learning HOW to do what your heart has been calling you to do all these years....
and if you 50K'd -- then WOW! You're on your way!
Thank you for being a compatriot on this exciting November Odyssey!
Sincerely,
Karen T.

Thank you! I have definitely learned so much about noveling that I haven't realized before. I haven't reached the 50,000 yet--I have probably around 3,000 more to go in 3 1/2 hours, but I am definitely keeping my fingers crossed that I'm going to get there before the deadline. This is my first time with NaNoWriMo and it has been one heck of a journey, I really should say. I think I am going to keep at it, because it is just so much fun! Thank you for introducing me to NaNoWriMo, and thank you to all the nice people I have met on this journey. Congrats to everyone, just for trying this crazy one-month project!
