Just making sure here - is anyone else not seeing the ability to upload word count and such on their page? Because I can't find it and as I am making the last ditch effort to reach 50K by tonight, I am starting to get worried.

Anybody else making that last dash? And how far are you behind?

I still have a good 18k to write. Yes, I am crazy. Anybody else out there as crazy as me?

Is your profile set to local time? If not, that can make your word count validating feature disappear. Look at Breaking News on the Home page for a more coherent explanation.

Best of luck!

If you're not seeing the ability to upload word count, you may have your time zone set wrong. The word count validator will disappear from your page when midnight tonight passes in the time zone set for your account. Make sure you have the correct time, which should be reflected on the NaNoWriMo home page count down.

You all are so helpful. I had read the message on the homepage about the timezone thing a while ago but was like, "Mine is set right."

Too bad I was set 12 hours ahead. XD

Almost there! Huzzah!

I'm jittery with how much/fast I have been typing. Eeeeeeeeeeee......

Keep going! I'm almost as crazy as you are. I had 10,000 words to write today and I made it. You're almost there.

Yay, it was doable! I wrote 14,000 words yesterday. Granted, my wrists and fingers felt like they were hit by a truck afterwards.
