Right now I'm trying to decide between "For the Sins of the Father" and "Sins of the Father", but other suggestions or slight variations would be greatly appreciated. As for those two, though, which do you think sounds better? I can't decide...
It doesn't really matter what my novel is about, and you know it. If it's a really good sounding title I can see if it fits or tweak it a bit to make it fit. ANY suggestions would be welcome, really.
...Actually, I suppose a couple plot points do matter. It's in a medieval-esque time period on an unnamed continent that I made up so I wouldn't have to do any research. And it's about two assassins whose abandoning parents contacted them after 18/16 years and they all have to go kill some guy who's trying to kill them all because he hates the parents.
That was more than I intended...but whatever...

Of the two, go for the latter - titles should be snappy, not wordy. Also has a stronger rhythm to it. |--|- instead of --|--|-

hmm, cool concept. I like "Sins of the Father"
here are some titles I came up with:
Blood Ties
18 Years Later
or, for a classic approach:
The Adventures of [Assassin 1's name] and [Assassin 2's name]
Assassins in [the name of your continent]

Sins of the Father sounds the best
