I know NaNo has been an amazing experience for me this year. How about you? Tell us about your favorite memories from this year.

(For those who were asking, photos coming soon!)

Meeting all the people, if you can believe it. I know I'm not the most talkative person, and when there's a bunch of people around me I kind of... don't do too well. But those people I did talk to (granted, there was a lot of silence on my part), were awesome. I could list them, but I'd probably forget a bunch. I'm so terrible with names I haven't heard multiple times.

I shall forever wonder how I got so (in)famous. I must have heard the phrase "Oh, you're ShirtNinja, I've heard lots about you, most interesting" about three or four times.
Or getting the comments "those two are the Ninjas." Makes it sound like a family name.
Denton dancing, Patrick break-dancing, Aaron rapping ... oi vey it was a night.
But uh speaking of "memories to keep you warm this winter", all I can think of is Aaron's Acknowledgments for the Nazis.
There are lots of fond memories, most of them captured on digital film ala Karen and the Paparazzi. Good job last night MLs and ML NAPs.
See you at the TGIO '08

Finger Puppet Romance Novel Excerpt Reenactments.

Meeting everyone and then some.

Just finding out that there are so many other people who are similar to me in the whole "nowhere NEAR normal" sense... And they don't mind me injecting myself into the NaNo group.

I will display my ninja duckie with pride.

Sounds like I missed a lot after I was ejected from the TGIO.

I think ejected is perhaps being a bit unfair. We had five and a half hours of party for the under-18 crowd!

I had a great time last night - thanks, everyone! The trophy is sitting on my mantle. (I suspect my husband is eating all the Pez.)

I won a PRIZE. Ohmigosh.

Eeee!

(good pen, by the way. very useful)

I'll be remembering that happily for a while. It's very warming.

Um um um I am going to remember Patrick's hair. Definitely. And the Wii Boxing and our game of 1000 Blank White Cards at the Midway.

lol Probably sitting at the TGIO trying to get a drink but all these people kept congratulating me on getting to 200K! LOL. *blush*. Oh, for sure, Jayson read from the romance novel. Sarah's dress.

My four duckies LOL :D. Getting beaten at Wii boxing. Koosei's mario toy, omg I love that thing! *punches her mario toy*.

I also loved the TGIO theme.

And Brad, I'm the same way, no worries. It was great seeing you at the TGIO. Write 200K and they all come to you :D lol *rubs hands in glee* hehe

I can't wait to see the pictures :)

Pictures! Yes, thank you Arnold. So, Karen, how do you want me to get you the pictures? I've got some from the midway madness and from the TGIO, as well as a couple videos. Unfortunately, my memory card was full, so I only got have the the romance novel finger puppet show.

Heh, oh man, favorite memories... I would have to say Patricks hair, sitting in Second Cup for hours on end with my sister and Kiyoshi, winning my "Multitasking Hippo" award (It is getting framed), finishing my novel, Sarah's dress... so many amazing memories, I don't really have a single favorite!

IRC Chat room. The place was quite the amusing break I think we all needed in order to survive this month.

Accordion Hero.

Sarah for being so enthusiastic about everyone's accomplishments.

2 a.m. nights on the chat room waiting up for Kriggi and confusing him with the "jokes" that were going on from a lack of sleep on I think everyone's part.

There are a LOT of great memories from this year... One of my favorites was the "Adultery" vs. "Infantry" conversation I had with ShirtNinja (Kyoshi).

I had a lot of fun in chat this year, too!

Every event that I attended had many great moments!

The encouraging words of advice at the Kick-Off, the Raving Rabbits of doom at Mid-Way, and oh so much from the TGIOP! Jayson's tentacle pr0n finger puppets, Denton's entire existence, all of the kind words and even kinder awards, and the bartender's rendition of 'House of the Rising Sun'!

Seriously awesome memories. :) Is it next year yet?

Oh, ejected seems a well enough word for me to use. Not your guys' fault, of course.

I'm just saying the end of the TGIO sounds like it was a lot of fun.

What memories will be sticking for me, though?
The award, thank you.
Hmmm the Kickoff Party went well at the beginning.
And the couple of University write-ins we ended up having.

Those are the good ones, at least.

I'm thinking the same thing, Learan. IS it november yet?

Learan, I really loved getting to talk to you and your wife as well. The two of you are amazing people!
