Hi all
Based on a post by CaraSmith, I decided to start a new thread to see if there was interest in the formation of a writer's group for Nanoers in the Perth area.
Once there is an idea on whether or not it would work, we could figure out the specifics, ie what night it would be held on, how often it would meet, wheres and times and stuff like that.
Anyone who is interested please reply and we can hopefully get something sorted.
Also, while I have the chance, I just want to say that any Nanoers that want to keep in touch after the boards go down can email me at alldunn_katy@yahoo.co.uk.

I think there is significant scope for a Writer's group based in Perth. I can heartily recommend the Creative Writing Course run by the Perth college. I know there are 6 of us who took the introductory course in the last session and who are planning on attending the next session beginning in January. As far as I am aware you do NOT need to have attended the introduction course, to attend the second course, but it might be worth contacting the college on this point.

Thank you for that contribution - it may be a good way to start/recruit.
However, I'm not sure we would want to be a formal class per se, more just a group to share ideas, offer constructive criticism and help each other out.
