Thanks to all of you for being a mighty mighty fine bunch of Wrimos indeed! A big round of applause to everybody as well - even if you didn't get to that purple line, even if you barely squeaked out any words at all, you at least signed up with this NaNo madness in the first place, which is a heck of a lot farther than most people get. So **well done y'all!!**

And an absolutely *immense* thanks to Loriba, my inestimable co-ML, for not only keeping everything chugging along smoothly and shouldering all the ML tasks which I didn't know about/forgot to do, but also managing to churn out millions and millions and millions of words in the process! [not exaggerating either - just check the forums&chatrooms ;-) ]
YAY LORIBA!!

I have to second this.

Thanks to everyone for lots of things:

1. For putting up with the site not working properly in the first couple of weeks of October and sticking around to see it improve.

2. For being civilised and friendly to one another. This year we didn't have a single issue on the forum and that's been fabulous. Long may it continue.

3. For not complaining when I forgot to organise things or was late in posting about them. You're all so patient, it's amazing!

4. Thanks so much to Sniglet, who despite her assertations to the contrary did a huge amount this year in liasing with the meet venues and organising all the meets. They wouldn't have been anywhere near as succesful if it had been left to me!

Lastly, thanks to everyone who sent messages of thanks to us in person or on the site. Seeing so many of you crossing that finishing line and acquiring your purple winners bars makes all the stress worthwhile and we'll definitely be back next year.

I'll be posting in a minute about interim meets that we'll be having throughout the year. Please check it out and note the dates and places in your diaries. It would be great to see you all and catch up with how your writing/editing is going.

If you can't make it to any of the meets, have a great off season, and I hope to see you around next October!

:-)

Congrats to everyone who participated, especially those who managed to get over the finishing line in the end. And special thanks to our two MLs who have (again, in MC Lottie's case) managed to organise everything astutely and keep the well-oiled machine that is NaNo Cambridge running smoothly.

On a personal note, sorry I wasn't able to make it to any of the meets, again (through lack of time and shame, haha), but hopefully a few of the interim meets this year...

Yay! We all survived November and had a great time too!

Thanks to both of you for all the extra time and effort ML-ing takes and for the massive word counts for inspiration!
