Hi all,
Since a last minute emergency prevented me from making it to Sunday's TGIO party, I just wanted to give one last THANK YOU! to our terrific MLs:
We are so lucky to have the two of you organizing all these great events for us, and cheering us on. You both go so far above and beyond -- documenting our progress in photos, and adding little incentives and prizes at the write-ins -- it's hard to believe you are both volunteers because everything comes together so seamlessly and professionally. Thanks for making November my favorite month ... and for making me a novelist! I couldn't have done it without you.

I totally agree! I've been a NaNo novelist in many different regions due to varying locations of school, and Boston has really wowed me with the frequency of write-ins, the turn out, and the enthusiasm of MLs. It was a great November! Thank you!!

Aww, shucks.
Speaking for myself, having a great group of wrimos makes this job so much easier than it otherwise could be. We couldn't have awesome events without awesome wrimos coming to attend them. Trust me, I know. I've had lunch where it's just Anna and me, and while we both have fun, it's a lot more fun when we're surrounded by fellow inmates ... er, wrimos. :-)
Cheers,
Travis

You two MLs were amazing. This was my first year doing all this, and I couldn't let myself not finish. I never made it to an official write-in, but I was almost shocked at how many there were (hopefully, this time next year I'll have a better schedule and will make them). And it was great to see so many people having so much fun while going completely insane...
Thanks for being so awesome. I can't wait for next year now!

Yes! Gush, gush.
I'm so glad I was participatey this year; I really should have known that the potent combination of speed noveling and social interaction would be so appealing. You guys made it fun and silly and created incentive to come to events (hello, jump drives) and wrote pep talks and were endlessly encouraging, and you should really feel special because there's a big group of slightly socially awkward, probably pasty and sporting dark undereye circles, definitely jubilant with accomplishment, hyperintelligent, creative, and daring folks out there who really appreciate it all.

Well, thanks guys! I don't know that there's anything else I can say other than what Travis already has. You guys rock, and you make it all possible. If it weren't for you guys, we wouldn't have come back to do this again.
I look forward to seeing you again next year for NaNoWriMo and, of course, for NaNoEdMo!

I would have replied to this topic sooner if I had seen it.
Thank you two so much. You are the best I have ever seen. And it has just dawned on me. Those e-mail weekly notices were long and deprived you of words tht could have gone to your novels. Hmmm. You're even better than I thought.
