We had a great time meeting everyone at the party Sunday! And thanks for your patience with our wiggly kids. (They love the little notebooks they got ... Maddy is carrying hers everywhere now.)
Anyway, it was cool to get to put some faces and names together, though I'm pretty terrible with names and will still probably need to be reintroduced at any future events. :) And it was neat to just get to listen to writerly chatting, with people who 'get' this obsession with making things up and putting them down on paper. I wish some of my other IRL writing buddies could've made it. Maybe next time.
