Hi all, I just got an email from the lovely Kieran at Bar 9 which I thought might be of interest (text follows with depressingly impersonal salutations edited out)...

"We are hosting the third edition of NY Tyrant's literary magazine. nytyrant.com. These are a very rock n roll literary group and throw great parties. This party at Bar 9 on Jan 19th will feature the writers from the upcoming edition as well as a band called The Morning 40 Federation. The Morning Forties are very popular in New Orleans and have a fun following here in NYC.

So please put it on your radar and spread the word. We will also pass along other info on our own monthly reading series to begin this January."

It sounds like fun so I'm, as he said, spreading the word.

I have no fear that he will return to me. In a fight between a certain ember-eyed siren and kieran, my money's on the former... :P

(oh man, can I say thank god it was too late for kieran to do nano this year? These forum contents do get cleared out before next year, right?)

The good news is nomad hugs and Livvy brownies can co-exist in peace.

The bad news is both Livvy and I are watching very carefully to see which one you go for first...
