Hey all, a few of us (five at last count; not counting multiple personalities...) are going to start meeting up occasionally in the NW 'burbs. Most likely in the neighborhood of Woodfield. If anyone is interested to get in on it, give me a shout.

My e-mail is chacho_nips at hotmail dot com. Spammers need not apply. Stalkers welcomed in steamy negligee. Not really. Well, besides that one time. Nevermind that!

Anywho, at the moment we're still hashing out when and where and how often and all that jazz. If you wish to get in on the voting process... Well, again, give me a shout.

Peace,
Ricky D

In case you were wondering...

It is decided. Project Northwest Suburbs Support Group Extravaganza Olfactory is a go.

Where: 1540 E Golf Road in Schaumburg. The Borders Books across from Woodfield Mall.

When: 7 PM (ish) on the last Monday of every month.

What: I got nothing. No, wait. So, pretty much the agenda is whatever your agenda happens to be. Bring a laptop, bring a notebook, bring some cocktail napkins, bring nothing but a smile... We won't judge. Bites will be kept to a minimum unless otherwise requested.

Who: Well, me, of course. And you, we hope. Who is we? You'll just have to show to find out.

Why: Because the penguins said so. Because we are all that is awesome. Because it is. Because there are secret ninjas in the rafters. Because I'm not afraid of cooties.

How: By the Power of Grayskull? Well, if not, you can drive or you might actually be able to take mass transit; there's a Pace Bus that runs by... Otherwise, maybe you can car pool. Can't hurt to ask if anyone here could pick you up, right? I'm actually driving two people myself, so your odds aren't impossible.

That's it. Be there or be left out of the greatest event that ever did live.

Peace,
Ricky D

Sounds like fun.

I can't say I'll ever show up due to a full, rich and rewarding life, but if it ever takes a downturn and I need some distraction from the sudden turn of events that has left me despondent with little will to live, I'll be there. All kidding aside, I'm putting the last Monday of the month in my calendar and would love to link up. I just don't know at this point what my commitment is other than to express my desire to participate. 'Baby steps'.

Excellent! Hope to see you there next time.

Well, this month's meeting was a wild success. Five actual entities arrived. Some work was done. A song about someone named "Pimbo" was composed. A sock puppet was turned into a hero with a pretty epic poem attached.

Good times.
