It was good to see everyone again last night! :-D Let's ring in the New Year tardy-style, with next month's write-in on January 25, 2008!

Let's call it a "split the difference" New Year Party, since Chinese New Year is coming on 2/7.

Happy 4706, Year of the Rat!

Remember, the Year of the Rat is good for hard work, renewing, and re-doing. Perfect for a NaNoWriMo rewrite!

'Course, I've got to finish writing first ;-) Perhaps the constant gnawing and chewing at the block on my writing will get things going again... **must sharpen teeth**

**is sad** I can't make Friday write-ins for the rest of this academic quarter, thanks to a last-minute announcement that my critical Thursday class was canceled and my only option to ever have the class I need was to enroll in a Friday night section at a different school. So, is anyone up for Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays? Or Saturdays or Sundays?

P.S. I'm not suggesting canceling the January 25th write-in, though I can't make it **sniff**

Tuesdays are right out for me... Thursday *might* be an option, I'll have to see. I'm going to need something to help keep my sanity though, as I may get screwed over with a protracted session of Jury (jail) duty next Monday. Being stuck in a room M-Th during the daytime listening to people drone on about crap I really could care less about for the next two to three months....ugh. I HATE Jury Duty.

Ugh-- it seems to be jury duty season-- a couple of my former classmates and a teacher I know all got summoned for January. I was able to get mine postponed until June 30, thank the various deities!

I have my fingers crossed for Thursday...

My schedule is going to be crazy until March 22nd. Mon - Thur 3pm to 8:30PM and then from Feb 1st and 2nd I start friday nights and Sat days. But Sundays would work well for me.

I'm better on Fridays or Saturdays. Sundays are out, and I'm trying to counter-balance writing with going to gym on weeknights.

Well, I may be able to make Fridays after all. I went online tonight to see where my so-called Friday class would be meeting, and OOPS!-- it was canceled too. So now I'm out one of the most critical classes of the MCSE series. 'Course, I wasn't, you know, e-mailed by the instructor of the class or anything about it being canceled :-P If they don't offer it next quarter, I'm royally screwed. RAARRRGH! I'll probably have to take some stupid online class or something instead, if anyone offers them.

But, the small silver lining is that I can make January 25th's write-in after all, and subsequent Friday write-ins ;-)

**sigh**

I will definately be there on this coming Friday, but if we keep it fridays, I will only miss Feb and March, then I will see everyone again in April.

See you all soon.

Anyone seen Norsehound and know if he'll need a ride tomorrow?

If he gets to Warren Hall floor LM by 5:30pm tomorrow I'll take him.

Well, we definitely weren't writing ;-) I wrote a whole sentence... Ok, two, if you count the fact that the second was a continuation of what the character was saying.

It was worth fighting the weather, if only to get rid of some of my adverbs.

Speaking of stuff, how about a next meeting date? What day is best? I'm pretty much around every evening aside from Wednesdays...

Cool-- the 22nd it is! That is, by majority vote of people posting in this thread since the last write-in ;-)

LOL! I still think the sharpened stick might be fun though, just for the heck of it ;-)

And I wouldn't be in enough pain if I didn't pass the class? :\

I managed an A- on my last turn-in essay though, so that's 3 out of 5 potential grade-destroying tests on the good side of the grading line. Let's just hope the one I turned in is OK.
