To wit: There will be a NaNo Write-In style event on the 1st Thursday of each month - beginning Feb. 7, 2008.
It will be held at the Central Perk in El Cerrito (the corner of Central and San Pablo Avenues) from 6:00pm - 10:00pm.

This is NOT a Office of Letters and Light event - but a continued gathering of 2007 NaNo participants. If you've ever participated in Nano - whether you've reached 50,000 words or not - you are welcome to join us whenever you can. Just look for the lime-green NaNo Write-In cards on the table!
This event is casual - drop in whenever you'd like, leave when you need to. No pressure. No problem.
Do post these times and dates in your date book as this is the only e-mail that you will receive regarding this particular write-in or just remember 1st THURSDAYS.
Our agenda for these events is simple: to share some of our writing with each other and (if requested) receive feedback, have some 30 minute speed writing contests, and enjoy each other's company.
Regarding Kat's and my participation in this Central Perk event-
Kat and I will be participating in the Central Perk group because we live near by, have a vested interest in getting our novels finished, we enjoy working in groups, and this is the group that we participated in during the 2007 NaNo. We are not sponsoring this as ML's but as humble writers and NaNo participants - just like you!
So perhaps we'll see you at the Perk. You'll have 10 chances to do so before the 2008 NaNoWriMo begins again!
