Since my wife does a craft night every first Friday at a friend's house in Vacaville, I figured it would be a perfect opportunity to have a regularly scheduled write-in at my house. So I propose a first Friday write-in at my house for all interested participants, starting at 7-ish and running until whenever-ish (probably before midnight). The first one would be Friday, March 7. This would be a very informal gathering, just be a time for a bunch of us to sit together and write in solidarity for awhile, maybe discuss problems we're having with our works in progress or swap some ideas for breaking writer's block. There won't be critiques or formal discussion of works, but there will be writing.
And, of course, it's at my house. Contact me if you need directions or my phone number.
No need to RSVP. Just show up at 7(ish). Bring yourself and your laptop or notebook. If all goes well, I may even provide coffee.
(And, of course, there won't be one in April, since the first weekend in April is when we're planning the SacNano retreat.)

Ooh. Now I'll just have to figure out what to do on those Friday nights so I can stick down by work for a couple hours as opposed to going home to Antelope and then turning right back around.

It's on my calendar. Friday nights are hectic, so I can't promise.
Kat, you might enjoy not having to fight the 4-6 pm traffic once a month!
Richard, have you e-mailed anyone about the retreat? If so, I have not received one.
