How's everybody doing? Getting writing done? Struggling? Wishing you were somewhere with clear water and warm beaches?

I've practically been chaining myself to my computer in order to keep the words coming. The novel I started last year, Rising Storm, is finally getting close to the end and I'm eager to finish it. I also started a new story a week and a half ago and it's turning out better than I thought it would. I averaged close to 900 words a day last week, and one of those days I didn't write at all because I went to a friend's house to play Rock Band. I'd like to average 1,000 words a day and to do it in less time. I'm getting there.

I'm going to take advantage of the write-in later today. Have to get away from the TV and teh intarwebz if I expect to get any more work done; spent more time making and drinking coffee yesterday and Saturday than I did actually writing. GAH! I have an idea of what my next sentence is going to be, so if I can just get it written down, I'll move ahead.

Speaking of teh intarwebz, I need to keep an eye on the clock if I'm going to make it to the write-in...

How was the write-in on Monday?

Have any of you done NaNoEdMo? Have any words of advice for someone considering it for the first time?
