Un año más, en la brecha... :-)

¡Bienvenidos a Nanowimo 2007!

Pasemos un rato emocionante, agobiante y gratificante durante los fríos días de noviembre, como mandan los cánones... ;-)

Sólo recordar que tenemos una comunidad en livejournal (de hecho varias, espero que los autores nos vayan informando) para los nanos hispanos: nanowrimo_esp (http://community.livejournal.com/nanowrimo_esp/ ).

Además, si nos organizamos por regiones, podremos quedar para escribir juntos en cafeterías tranquilas y otros lugares apropiados (si hasta tenemos Starbucks, como los yanquis :-) además de las fiestas de arranque y sobre todo la de Dios-mío-gracias-que-ya-sacabao !!! Hace un par de años lo hicimos en Madrid y fue muy divertido y emocionante :-)

En fin, ¡que a por ellos, que son pocos y cobardes! (¿50.000? Una minucia, somos espartanos, ¿no? :-)

Hola a todos, primera vez que me meto en este jaleo, primer paseo por los foros.
Soy amigo de Angua, que por lo que he visto, casi estrena el foro, a estas horas he terminado el cupo de palabras y no tengo a la vista el final de la novela. Apenas comienzo a plantear el nudo de la historia. A ver si puedo continuar el ritmo sin la presión del NANO.

Quería saludar a mis compatriotas hispanoparlantes y tal (incluso a los que escriban en inglés y gallego, el caso es sacar la creatividad fuera) hacer nuevas amistades entre este grupo de dementes creadores y plantear un par de dudas.

1) ¿Por qué somos "elsewhere in europe"?

Me comienzo a hartar (bueno, no, ya estoy harto desde hace mucho) de ser el último mono. Vale que Iberia sera un pais enano dentro de la UE, vale que somos pobres y tal. Pero ya me empieza a tocar un poco las gónadas que las instrucciones de las cosas vengan en todo menos en español, que cuando vienen nos pongan por detrás del polaco, el griego o cualquier idioma centroeuropeo. Que en Inglaterra vayas a la torre de Londres y encuentres carteles hasta en hebreo, antes que en español. No se si peco de chauvinista, pero me parece que es una cuestión ya de menosprecio. Si dijera que nuestro idioma solo se habla en la península, vale. Pero es una de las lenguas más extendidas en el mundo, tanto en número como en área geográfica. Claro que son todo paises pobres, que debe de ser la razón por la que es un idioma marginal.
Pues eso.
No nos merecemos un lugar en esta comunidad que no sea "dondesea de europa"?

2) Se me ocurre que para finalizar las novelas que no ven llegar su conclusión con el mes de noviembre nos podríamos poner un plazo de palabras nuevo, no tan intenso, que mi vida social se resiente, pero si una meta concreta. Tengo miedo de ir aparcando el fin de la novela para dejar sitio a otras cosas y es algo que no quiero que ocurra.

Hi everyone,

I'm writing in California, but my characters just hopped on a flight to Spain. This seemed like a great idea at the time, but now that they've landed I've realized I don't know anything about the place, much less the language.

Would someone out there be willing to translate a couple lines of dialog for me? It's not much I promise. I might also have a few questions about culture and cuisine, to add some authenticity.

I'd be eternally grateful, and will add anyone who helps into my acknowledgments. :)

Starbucks de la c/ Infantas a las 17:00h

Localozación: a unos 100m en diagonal del cruce de c/ Barquillo ("del Sonido") y c/ Alcalá, probablemente en la planta baja, al fondo la esquina de la izquierda, hay sofás, mesitas y enchufes.

El primero que llegue que deje aviso a los de la barra, que son majetes.

Creo que, casi seguro, iré al menos por un par de horas, así que seguramente allí os veré.

¡Ánimo, ya falta menos para las 20K!

España - Spain: Quedada en Madrid el fin de semana del puente

Hola a todos,

Hago, pseudo-oficialmente, la I Quedada de Nanoescritores en Madrid el 3 ó 4 de noviembre.

Se convoca a escritores de Nanowrimo a acudir a Madrid este fin de semana (días 3 o 4 de noviembre) a escribir, llorar, departir y en general a hacer carreras de palabras y otras terapias psicológicas...

Lugar: por determinar, preferiblemente un lugar bien comunicado y céntrico y más bien tranquilo.
Fecha: 3 ó 4 de noviembre, preferiblemente por la tarde.

Cómo nos reconoceremos: el primero que lleve que escriba un cartelito bien visible: NANOWRIMO :-)

(por mi parte llevaré camiseta del Nano de años anteriores, no sé cual)

Participad los que vayáis a venir para determinar los interrogantes, y así todos más felices...

Y eso es, básicamente, todo...

PS- No sé si al final quedó alguien en Madrid este pasado fin de semana o no... Lo cierto es que este fin de semana no todo el mundo se va de puente, no (ay). Y así, creo que será la primera vez que quedamos en España para escribir, al menos así en plan general...
