Judging by responses the past couple of years, and the other thread I posted in this forum this year, maybe not. And Vietnam's maybe not the most conducive place for writing (around here I know a lot more people that write than people that are writing), but who knows?

So who else is Elsewhere in Asia this year? The countries that, despite being wonderful, don't quite have enough writers (or at least writers familar with NaNoWriMo) to support their own little forum here?

I live in Saigon, Vietnam. Missed out on NaNo last year, despite my best intentions,but have determined to make up for that this year... where are you?

Hey!
I'm an Adventure genre novelist in Central Asia. I'm looking for anyone near the +0600 time zone who would want to face off against me in a daily word count. This is my first time on NaNoWriMo, so I'm not the most experienced at this. But I must warn you, my writing speed can rocket upwards once I've had enough chai. :D
Anyone nearby up for the challenge?
