Just wondering if anyone still attends writeins etc.. I can almost spit on the Kava House so I try to go there early. Good luck everyone. Doesn't matter if you are writing for the NaNo, for yourself or whatever. Just write.

Hiya,
I think most of the year round writers just migrated back to the local boards. The open yahoo group for the dayton writers can be found at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dayton_writers. We don't post as much there as one of the more private boards, but we do check it, and someone can always respond with info if it's not on that board.
We are still meeting fairly regularly for write-ins on the weekends. Sunday afternoons are always at Panera by the Dayton Mall and usually have a few people show up. Saturday write-ins vary by interest for time and location.
The kava house is just around the corner from me and a few of the year round writers, what days do you go and what time?

I'll have to sign up for the group later. Yahoo is evil according to the power that be who just happen to pay my rent.
I've never bothered affiliating with the Dayton group until today so I didn't know about the Panera Write-in until this morning. I may be able to get down there soon.
As for the kava house I'm pretty hit and miss. If I go, I usually go around 6 and stay until I have to get to work. Otherwise I will take my daughter over to the Barnes & Nobles so she has something to do. I'm a morning writer for the most part. I get up at 4 and start writing until I have to get my kids and myself read for the day.
If you ever want to setup a write-in I would be willing to participate.
