If you've ever been stuck by writers block or even if your running low on snack food, take the time off and take a walk. while you walk, imagine that you're the protagonist in your adventure story, and ask yourself: what do i do next? No matter how crazy things can get it's always been a fun thing to do. when I kept getting stuck, that always helped, but if its the climax that gets ya...go for comedy like this.
'As her rifle reached out to his heart, he knew his journey was over. Suddenly a voice echoed low and nearly broke the silence between the two.
"Banzai!" said the voice. As he heard it, the voice sounded familiar. Her gun was aimed close, she wouldn't miss him this time.
"Any last words Kit?" he said. she was confused, he was unarmed what could he do.
"What do you mean Rae? I've won, the treasure will be mine." she started to scream. Rae looked up and saw that he was right the voice was his sister who jumped over the Iron Gates.
"Hi big brother!" she shouted. With that he was right again, his sister landed a pile-driver on Kit.'
sorry I'm a little rusty, but there you go, bad scenario turns funny with a character arriving at an unpredicted time. All of this I thought of while just taking a walk.
