I don't know if anyone else is doing this,
But I'm writing a novel as a Pre-Nano something something.
I'm trying to do my best in two months, to start the plot line of my Nano Book. I thought that it would be a good idea to get it all gong before I start Nano - that way writing the continuation of my book will be easier.
I was wondering if anyone is writing a book before Nano. I posted this in the YA+Youth because I am writing a youth Historical Fiction series.
Thanks

I am doing short storries. I usually can't write more than that. I am going to take one of my 15 year old short storries to do my nano from, though.

I'm doing this. However, I'm not sure if this is the story I'll do for NaNo or if I'm going to do one of the (somewhat formed) ideas I had when I was in my preteens. The story I'm planning out at the moment is a youth historical fic too. Some drama and some romance as well, but it definitely has the two genres yours has.
When is yours going to be set?

That's so cool how you're doing the same genres i am. :p
Mine is set in 1855, just before the attack of Fort Sumter - just outside of where my MC lives, in South Carolina.
Holly, my MC, is in the New Orleans, where she meets her 'lost' family - her mother's sisters' family, the Quests. The Quests are on their way to the New Orleans to see the Montagues - more of Holly Pawlikowski's cousins. The three families bond together, until the older Pawlikowski children and Edward Pawlikowski (Holly's father), set sail to Rome - where the second book starts off.
