It seems there are so many "adoption threads" each year (adopt-a-plot, adopt-a-character, adopt-a-title, etc.) that it'd be easier to give them their own forum. It might make it easier to browse and find whatever you need, and to see if something has already been adopted.

It would definitely clear out some of the more populated threads.

But I don't think it would make them any easier to browse once you go into the actual thread, because they're so long.

I'll put it on the wishlist for discussion!

Well maybe instead of having long threads for each kind of adoptable item (i.e. Adopt-a-Character), members could start their own threads for individual things (with a subject line like "Character: John Doe" or "Plot: one-sentence-summary")? Then to see if it's been taken you just check the replies.
