The story, well...A Grand Seduction was my first NaNo, in 2006. I won the challenge, then set it aside. Finally I was asked to sub the full MS based on a query, so I had to hurry and finish it...which I did literally days before NaNo 2007!
I just sent the full MS on my 2007 NaNo, so here's hoping! I won the challenge on that one as well, then finished the book in another month. (It's85k words.) Set it aside for a bit to "cool off" before editing, and sent out a query two months ago. I'll keep you posted!
