Yay! I've just run both my antagonist and my heroine through the mslt and they both passed! The heroine with a score of 5 and the antagonist with a 14.

No cliches here...how about you?

...my main character got a 121...I TOTALLY disagree. My character is basically me, and I am NOT a Mary Sue....

I agree. Mine was really high. There's a heck of a lot of stuff that isn't gone over about my character... I don't really think much of this test... There's really no way to take a QUIZ and get accurate results. Not every possible character trait is reached.

My MMC scored a 17 - basically, he's a manipulative jerk, which subtracts points, but he had a very angsty childhood.

On the other hand, my FMC scored a 35 because she's a racecar driver. And awesome.

This quiz, like all such items, is for entertainment purposes and has as much significance to one's life (or writing, in this case) as those silly "Dating Voltron" or "What Angel-Fairie-Demon-Emo are you?" type quizzes.

Some people choose to use the ideas involved therein to move their characters one direction or another. It is a springboard, and nothing more.

If it has caused you distress, I apologize, though I am not the author. It is a tool, make of it what you will.

Ha ha Taewin got a 59. I have to disagree with it and agree with said comments. SO many things of what Taewin is were not touched upon. Although Thats what I get for making up fantasy characters.

I beleive he isnt a mary Sue because most of his religions and his world is made up by me I think I only clicked at the most 15 boxes. :/

My title character (who isn't exactly my main character) scored a 10. Then I put in Doctor Who, and he scored 115. :D

that will be why. A mary sue is not necessarily perfect.. it can also mean a self insert =)

My MC got 14 which means Non-Sue. I know that's a good thing, but I wonder if I gave him too many personality flaws.

Then I put in Doctor Who, and he scored 115. :D

Ha! I can very easily see how that would be true.

haha! I can too. He's so angsty and basically every woman in every episode wants him. xD

One of my FMC's got a 27, but she still needs some editing done, so that's fine. I think this is because we are quite similar in some ways, as I did create her when I was thirteen (nearly four years ago!) and back then I thought it was kühl to make her like me. Once I've finished editing the novel I think she'll be less like me.

The MMC gets 21. Fair enough. I know that I shouldn't have put my characters in rock-bands and in the school play. But come on, tons of people try starting bands when they're fifteen! About 99% of them fail. But they don't ask whether the band fails, do they?

Minor characters:
Adele 7
Cassie -3
Ellie 6
Kyle 16

I think that's pretty good.

A Mary Sue character is one that's modeled after the author but made better in every way the author wishes he or she could be better.

I'm sorry, but it sounds as if you're MC is a Mary Sue.
