Since we're not really organized this year, I thought we might at least communicate through the forums here. I write erotica, mainly -- fantasy romance erotica. My current project is an M/M (gay) erotica fantasy, involving wizards, demons, and other assorted magical creatures. The hunt for the magical mother load is put off when Talan begins to hunt down his nemesis, Grimshaw Bain. Grim summons demons, and not just any demon. He summons incubi to gather the demon tail semen, which is a powerful aphrodisiac. Talan believes Grim is in the demon semen business for the money, but he’s wrong. Things escalate when Talan finds out the real reason Grim wants the semen, and now Talan has to stop Grim and save the world, but stopping Grim will mean killing Grim, and Talan happens to like Grim too much to kill him.

How Do You Write?

Ok, that probably seems like a silly question but... seriously. How do you write?

Desktop PC? Mac? Typewriter (if you have one and can still find ink for it LOL)? Laptop? Notebook & Pen?

If you are on a PC or Mac - what program do you use? Open Office? Word? Works? (I have NO clue what programs there are for Mac, sorry, I'm a PC LOL)

Do you have to have certain conditions? A certain spot? Chair? Place? Snack? Drink? :)

Yes, I'm nosy. Now to answer my own questions:

PC Laptop - I use Open Office as my program of choice.

TV or music are preferred to silence. I'm usually on my bed, but might be persuaded to work at the library or Barnes & Noble, so long as I can take my laptop and write. I prefer to have a beverage on hand - water or Diet Pepsi, occasional herbal tea. No snacks for me - I'll go to the kitchen if I get hungry thanks. ;)

I have started the Novel Writing Month oooohhh so many times before. Usually in an unformal "yeah I'm going to try that" sort of way. This year I thought I would put a little more effort into it :)
