Yes, we have Wrimos even in my hometown of Cannon Falls. Who wants to join me over at Brewsters for a game of pool, some talk about writing and an afternoon of casual fun?

I'll be at Brewsters on 4th St in Cannon Falls on October 31 at noon. You're welcome to join me! Wrimos from other towns are always welcome. I'll even spring for the snacks.

Red Wing Writers! Kick Off Party!

I know you're out there, Red Wing! I can hear you tapping at your computer keyboards!

This year in the spirit of disorganization...erm...organization...I'm intending to get together with my Red Wing Writers! I would love to hand out some goodies and do a kickoff with all of you. What works for day and time? Respond back quickly please so I can get you on my calendar. I'm really looking forward to meeting all of you and spending some quality time. How about it? Frozen custard at Culvers? Coffee over at Caribou? Let me know what you want and we'll set it up.

This is going to be a great year, Wrimos! Together we're going to write some truly wonderful novels!

Northfield Kickoff Party!

OK, Wrimos! The time is coming fast where we will be engrossed in writing great works of literary genius. Before we begin, let's get together. Talk writing, eat food, SOCIALIZE one last time before we all get so absorbed in our writing that we mutter, "Can't talk - WRITING" at anyone who comes near us.

OK, it won't be that bad. After all there will be write-ins and lots of fun in November too...

So...let's get together. Last year we had a lot of fun and a lot of people meet in Northfield to kickoff the year. But I need to hear from you. I've got Saturday and Sunday open in the afternoon and evening. So, what works? And if I don't hear from you by tomorrow night I'll have to be forced to pick it myself.

And where? Hideaway is always good...so is anyplace else in Northfield.

Lastly, we have people over at St. Olaf's who might need a ride to any events. Volunteers?
