Hi Lexington,
If you look at the google calendar for Lexington, you'll notice that we have two dates listed for Kick-off parties.
That's right, two! This year we are going to have two separate parties to allow as many people as possible to attend.
The first will be held at my house on Monday, October 27, from 6-9pm (at least).
The second will be held at Elizabeth's (mad_anne_cash) house on Thursday, October 30th.
You are welcome to attend one or both, we would love to see you there.
I will let Elizabeth tell you more about the second one, but here are some quick details about the first one.
It will be at my house (nanomail me for directions and my cell phone number, some of you may already have it from previous years).
I will most likely make a big pot of vegan chili. If turnout is looking good, I'll probably make a pot of meaty chili as well. Please feel free to bring anything else you would like along.
I am putting together nano goodies, so make sure you come to either party and get yours!

my party will be on thursday, october 30, from 6:30-9:30...at my home, near tates creek high school (nanomail for directions and MY cell number :D )
i will be making a pot of vegetable chili, and my husband may make some brownies...feel free to bring whatever else you may like, although i think we probably have a metric ton of paper goods left over from my baby shower.
keep in mind that at my kickoff there will be a 5-month-old underfoot. she goes to bed around 10, although now that she's teething it may be earlier.
i want to put together some goodie bags too...just not sure what to include yet :D (insert evil grin here)
