Yeah!!!

I made it, got my purple banner, but JUST barely--an hour and ten minutes before midnight.

It was better than last year when I gave up after the first few days, but not as good as the year before when I stayed ahead and finished several days before the 30th. Yet... this time was the more satisfying win. I was more flexible, more open to just try anything, and I believe I discovered new things (including new things I did *not* know).

*satisfied sigh*

Now to go massage my sore arms...

Wrap-up Party

So, I thought that we could get together on Monday, Dec 3 to wrap up NaNoWriMo 2007 edition. We could either go to a restaurant and have dinner together or stick with meeting at Oliver's. If we stick with Oliver's I'd like to meet at seven. Feel free to bring excerps from your this years effort to share with the rest of the group. Oh, I thought maybe Bloopers if we opt for dinner. What do you all think?

I just heard we're having a casual get-together at Oliver's Coffee shop in Gravenhurst tonight at 8. (Located at 510 Muskoka Street South at James Street East, on the south of end of town.) If you get this post in time, come join us!

Celebrating ML Day and Day 1 of Week 2

Congratulations discostone, our Municipal Liaison for Muskoka! Trust me, she knows how to bring people together and have a good time. I wonder if she knows that the last writing exercise we did, it helped me get unblocked and write again??? Bet ya that she doesn't know that. Well now, in the early hours of the first day of Week 2, it is a good time to let her know and for me to say thank you. Thank You Disco!
