Saw this is adopt-a-romantic-line board and it made me make this thread:

I think i might get one of my characters to say "if i told you that you had a beautiful body would you hold it against me?" Strangely i love it , though of course i return any comments like that in real life with an icey glare.

"Baby, if you were words on a page, you’d be fine print"

"I'd like to Shake your speare!"

"I'd like to verb your noun"

Ooh yeaaaah. ~.^

True story--I met my boyfriend while I was NaNoWriMo-ing last year. I can't remember what he said exactly, mostly because we were both eyebrow deep in writing projects. And it was 2am.
But we've been happy for 10 months now, and I'm convinced that November is magical because it forces you to share power outlets in dorm lobbies and gives cute boys excuses to walk girls back to their dorms. All in the name of gentlemanly safety, of course. :D

Aww. So sweet! I wish the best for both of you.

How about: "Wanna go to a write-in with me sometime?" or "You know what they say about writers with long novels...."

Okay, I'm going to go hide now. *headdesk*

To quote Rodney Dangerfield in 'Back To School' (only the classics for this fella...!): "Hey, you wanna come over and help me straighten out my Longfellow?"

Springs:

"Hey girl, if I was inked, I'd want to put your name on my spine."

"If I were a novel, I'd be dedicated to you."

"Baby, what's your ISBN? 'Cause I'd totally love to look you up."

What is a girl like you doing in a book like this?

Excuse me? Do you know how to conjugate a verb?

Do you know any tongue twisters?

Ha Ha!

These are great! Maybe they'll end up on special edition NaNoWriMo 2008 t-shirts. I know I'd buy one!

"My computer's not working, so I'll be doing all of this one by hand."

"Can you lend me a pen?"

"You're the cure to my writer's block."

*giggle* Oh yes, some of these deserve T-shirts...
