I was thinking of having one of my characters discover that someone wrote his name and number on a bathroom wall.
Has anyone ever called a number on a bathroom wall before? Who's number was it? What did they/you say?
Has anyone ever wrote a number on a bathroom wall before? Why? When and how hold where you?

Not particularly helpful, but this web-comic came to mind: http://www.robandelliot.cycomics.com/archive.php?id=225

That's hilarious! XD
To answer the questions: Nope, never called number on a wall, never wrote one. I'd be interested in knowing if anyone has done either, though. Could be some weird stories there!
----------Kryten: Don't you believe that God exists in all things? Aren't you a Pantheist?
Lister: Yeah, I just don't think it applies to kitchen utensils. I'm not a Fryingpantheist.

No but I have had the idea of taking a random phone number out of the phonebook and leaving such a message about that with the number.

I once wrote the URL of my homepage on the door of a bathroom stall to increase traffic. One person found it and wrote it down and left a comment on my page to tell me that my idea worked. XD

I once had a friend who wrote down a number she found in a stall. She even put it on her cell with the person's name. We used to make fun of her for it. I don't think she ever called it though.
