Here's the truth: NaNoWriMo is AWESOME!!!!!!!!! My first novel wouldn't have happened as well as it did if NaNoWriMo weren't here--I might not have finished it at all. I owe a lot to everyone who runs this site and every member willing to help a novelist in distress. Join me here to thank them!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll second that Shout!!
This is so well-organized, and awesomely run ... and with the numbers of authors involved, it's a wonder to me that the site is able to run at all!!
And if it wasn't so darned much fun, I wouldn't be back a second year to immortalize yet another cast of weird characters!
THANKS NANO FOLKS!!

I'll join the chorus. I just LOVE NaNo!
It's my third year this year. Every year I look forward to it, and every year I LOVE writing my NaNo. It makes me so really, really happy to see my characters and plot unfold as I type, and I love the process and the forums and the fact that we're all doing this crazy, amazing thing at the same time all over the world.
Thank you so very, very much for NaNo. Now I'll go donate some money to you.
Huggles,
