We're halfway through the month!
There are two halfway parties this month based on region:
SOUTH SEATTLE: NOVEMBER 15th 1:30 - 3:30 (followed by a write-in at 4:00 in Tukwila)
It's time to celebrate your success along with other novelists! We're going to meet up, have some fun, eat some pizza and head over for a write-in at the Barnes and Noble Starbucks so that we can catch up/get ahead on word count.

Prizes for the highest word count, special dares, themed sprints, caffeine, and encouragement. The wombats will come.

Thanks again first to our fearless leader, and thanks to everyone who came. I met a lot of young writers today (y'all made me feel a bit old, I'm sure I was the oldest one there...), and recieved a bit of hope for the future. What a blast! I always wanted to write, NaNoWriMo took away my excuses. I'd be a winner even if I stopped now, as far as that goes. At least I'm writing again, for the first time in over a decade.
The time at Starbucks helped make up for three 0 days earlier this month and a handful where I was woefully short of goal. I'll stay on track from now on, I promise. ;-)
