Q: Dan, as Tech Manager you have implemented all kinds of amazing and inexplicable upgrades to the event sites, ushering in what we like to call "The Era of Dan." What are you most excited about? What broke your brain the most?
A: I am most excited about getting some sleep, post-launch. I am also excited about going to class, turning in my assignments on time, mountain biking, and having my weekends back.
[exchanges glances, shuffles papers]
Oh, you wanted to know what I am most excited about on the website?
Well we did move to cloud computing for the first time in combined OLL-event history. And I have a new wardrobe of NaNo-related t-shirts! I don't want to give too much away, but let's just say there are plenty of new toys to play with this year.
As for my brain, I think it broke the most when I didn't achieve any REM cycles all this past week. But that brings us back to what I am most excited about...
