I am so ready I wish it was November now! Plot bunnies are scampering through my brain. I've caught one, so I hope I can hold on to it for another month :P

I've been champing at the bit for months! It's all I can do NOT to start writing. :-D I just hope that my enthusiasm (and energy) hold up through November.

Yippee NaNo! I have more than one idea. Now to figure out which works the best (and hopefully finish re-writing the 2007 NaNo first.)

Yep I'm here again too, all raring to go, ready for the madness to begin. I also have more than one idea to run with, but I'm going with the easiest first, cos I have a vague plan that in my fifth year of Nano-ing I might try to write two stories...yeah I know, I'm nuts.

But isn't that a prerequisite for Nano-ing? Roll on November!

Woohoo! I'm getting excited!!! I have zombies champing at the bit, barely reigned in, ready to go!

... and a very unfortunate conjurer-handyman who is waiting glumly for his story to be told...

See you in November!

....I'm totally not ready lol, but excited anyways. I thought I had some ideas a few months ago and now, well, not so much. Too many bits and pieces and scenes that have no plot. But I'm relatively optimistic. If all else fails I have old plot bunnies that can get me started at least.

AHHHHH!! I can feel the suspense already. I don't know what's going to happen next! I don't even know the characters, or their intentions, or even the plot!
The real twist happens when I start writing something.

The possibilities are jumping like flames. I can't wait until they catch. I am STOKED.

Ha, funny that.

I was hoping to NOT write vampires this year...

but it seems I may end up writing a side project for a story that happened out of last year's nano...which I haven't even looked at since November.

Although I'm still willing to put that one aside and find a new plot entirely. Without vampires.

and this year I'm staying put for the entire month of November. I'll take one day off on my birthday to watch the DVD I ordered from Japan. That's it. ^_^

I'm in, too. it going to be tough since we'll be on passage from Costa Rica to Ecuador for the first part of the month, and I've never been great at writing while we're underway (for those who are confused, I now live on a sailboat, but used to live in Vic).

I'll be working on a sequel to my nano of a few years back and I'm pretty excited. I love those characters!

Ready? Most definitely not (and I would appreciate it if you'd all stop willing November to come until I have in my possession something that could be called by some stretch of the imagination an "outline").

But excited as all hell? Indeed!

OMGSOEXCITED.

Four years, four different places I've lived, four Nano's I've attempted. The last time I won Nano, I lived in BC, and now that I'm back, I'm hoping this will be another winning year!!! I'm so excited to be in an area that isn't remote Northern BC, so that I can join in on a write-in and meet some fellow authors/day pass recipients.

I'm almost finished making up writing play lists in iTunes.

Greetings fellow Nanites.

I, Will the Great, have triumphantly returned to the wonderful city of Victoria after a year's absence and, most shockingly, might actually last longer than a week this November!

Looking forward to the obligatory meet-ups.

Greetings, everyone!

This will also be my first year writing NaNo, and I'm totally stoked. So stoked, in fact, that I don't have a clue what to write anymore! I started out with a few ideas, they blossomed and branched out and made a trilliongazillion plot bunnies and now I don't have a clue how to connect everything. Or know how to weed-out the dead-end ideas. I give it another week before total panic kicks in.

Cheers :-)

Hey, Victoria!

Man, I miss you guys already. I will be participating again this year (my third NaNo!), but unfortunately not in BC. I'm living in Quebec, as I have a job here for the school year, near Montreal (not close enough to go to all their NaNo meetings, but I'll be dropping in on them a few times). I have absolutely no idea of what to write, but I've already told six classes of judgmental teenagers that I'm doing it, so I'm pretty motivated to win!

Best of luck to all you wacky novelists back home in Vic, and I'll see you next year!
