Are you trying to be all smooth and nonchalant and pretend you haven't been refreshing every 30seconds since 9am? Cause I am most certainly not nonchalant. I didn't shower till a while ago <<;

And I do hope this can be the countdown thread especially since you had the old one going so well?

I would have thought my nonchalantness would have been obvious by the fact that:

I POSTED FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sorry, I can be extremely childish at times.

oh and,

Heh. We were composing ours. Yours is short and neat and a little flaily. I did say going for nonchalance...

Are you trying to tell me that you didn't have all of your immediate posts already pre-written, spell and grammar checked in a word document somewhere on your desktop ready to go at least a full 24 hours ago? I find that mighty hard to believe .... or maybe its just me who gets that far ahead of themselves...

anyway, I've been waiting for someone to post here so I can do this:

29 days, 6 hours, 57 minutes and 48 seconds

The answer is yes but the copying/pasting strips away the formatting. Plus, I did want to double check everything when it's in this nice blue box. You never know when the edit button will just disappear on this site.
And. I do have other things to do... like house work. :P

I'm so glad it's not just me that does that sort of stuff... And technically, I have things I'm supposed to be doing as well, my fiance made a point of telling me so when she read your reply. We're moving at the end of this month (the 30th to be precise, and let me assure you that it scares me to hell), and I haven't helped to pack anything yet. But instead I just decided to get changed into my work uniform for night shift tonight, although going to work won't stop me posting now that I have an iPhone, mwahahahahaha.

I'm really sorry guys, its just that the great wipe always hypes me up, its the first real, concrete step towards the start of a new NaNo.

And of course it would be a post from me without:

29 days, 6 hours, 48 minutes and 7 seconds

You wouldn't be an awesome wrimo if you didn't get excited. And this thread is now a countdown thread and people will come and relax and then freak out as they read. Heh. It's all good.

Your fiance sounds like a smart woman (I would know, it takes one to know one)... packing. I'll have to do that in a few months. I don't even have to think about it for now!

Count down threads have happened every year. At least this one has a good name? :) Being under a month sure is scary!

Today is cleaning day. And return to Adelaide day. I just thought I'd add some randomness to make my post look like more than a countdown update. So if you've read this, sorry for wasting an extra ten seconds of your life.

At least you gave me something to waste my ten seconds on, instead of staring blankly at the screen while my brain continues to leak out of my ear from lack of sleep as I contemplate starting my second of three 12 hour night shifts. Damn it, there should be more punctuation in there somewhere, why do I have to be so overly verbose when it comes to writing?

okay, so normally I don't double post, but seeing as no one has posted in this thread in nearly two days, I thought it was time for an update anyway:

26 days, 2 hours, 8 minutes and 51 seconds

My long weekend was spent setting up a wireless network and trying to wrestle my new Nintendo DS off of my boyfriend on Friday night; working (either the long weekend sent everyone crazy or Christmas is coming far too fast this year) on Saturday and Sunday, and supervising the demolition of a verandah and reformatting a computer today. As a result, it wasn't very relaxing and I am hanging out for next weekend.

I was working nights all weekend, but managed somehow to not get paid for the public holiday (this actually hurts more than people realize, it's thirty hours pay for 12 hours work). But at least I've got days off coming up soon.

Eeek. Can't believe how quick October is going already!

My long weekend. Saturday and Sunday was catching up on sleep and still settling in with the new baby in the house. Monday was a trip to Mildura taking my son to see Up at the cinema (awesome and very moving film) and some shopping. Then being kept awake as bubs was awake most of the night as she slept so much during the day. Very typical in that I returned to work on tuesday!

The Patched Fool and I went to see Up the other night. I cried in the opening but it was an awesome movie. Great short film to go with it too.

Heh. Driving to Mildura is ok but with a baby it could be rough. I didn't like driving back with the afternoon sun in my eyes.

oh come on, 15 hours and no one has posted here? looks like another double post for me.

23 days, 12 hours, 4 minutes and 28 seconds

and in that time, I still have to:

*organise a youth leadership course for my volunteer work
*decide between three different plots
*create the characters for the plot that I choose
*come up with some semblence of subplots for those plotlines
*decide on the style that I want to use to write the story

so, what does everyone else have to get done before november?

I'm mainly posting so GreenSkeleton isn't reduced to triple posting...

Too tired to figure out exactly but... something like 20 days, 11 hours, and 48 minutes.. although my maths could be off

I thought I would leave this thread alone for a little bit, biding my time, patiently awaiting the slow but ceaseless approach of november.

And now that my overly verbose need for comment greater than just a countdown update is over, november is:

20 days, 1 hour, 37 minutes and 28 seconds

away

I have been procrastinating everything. Although I did put together the Kick-Off post instead of doing work. Counts as constructive procrastination, right?

Right now I've got 5 maybe 6 assignments I'd like to get done in the next 2.5 weeks. I don't know if it will be possible but I'm going to try!
